Integrated & Sustainable Textile Policy 2023–28

The Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy (2023–2028), spearheaded by the Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles Department, Government of Maharashtra, is a forward-looking initiative designed to revolutionize the state’s textile ecosystem. With an ambitious goal to increase cotton processing from 30% to 80%, attract $3 billion in investments, and generate over 5 lakh jobs, the policy delivers one of India’s most comprehensive support systems for textile businesses.

  • 20% Capital Subsidy on solar energy projects (up to ₹4.80 Cr)

Energy Cost Reduction

  • Electricity Tariff Subsidy of ₹2 to ₹4 per unit, based on zone and unit type

Green & Circular Infrastructure

  • 50% Subsidy on Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP/CETP) — up to ₹5 Cr
  • 50% Subsidy on Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems — up to ₹10 Cr
  • 50% Subsidy for Textile Recycling Projects — up to ₹2 Cr
