Eligible Activities
- Biogas generation from agricultural, municipal, or industrial waste
- Bio-CNG plants and upgrading of biogas for fuel use
- Power generation through waste-to-energy combustion or gasification
Subsidy & Financial Assistance
- Capital Financial Assistance (CFA) provided based on installed capacity
- Biogas / Power Generation Projects: Up to ₹5 Crores
- Bio-CNG Projects: Up to ₹10 Crores
- Subsidy excludes land cost but covers plant and machinery as per MNRE norms
